Product Feeds
The easiest and most comfortable way of getting your products listed on Beyondschoolsupply is by sharing your products with us through a feed. Simply upload your product catalog to a server and send us the link so we can import it. The majority of e-commerce platforms have out of the box solutions for this and are usually included in their standard solution.
A product feed is a quick and effective way of sharing your product information with us. It often takes between just a few seconds and a minute for our system to process the information, and you have complete control of what is displayed. If you do not have a product feed, Beyondschoolsupply can collect all the information directly from your site. This solution is more time and resource-intensive, and if you make any changes to your site there is a risk that your products will disappear from Beyondschoolsupply. Please contact us to discuss the most appropriate solution for your particular site.
Timeliness and quality of the information
 Beyondschoolsupply  always strives to display correct and complete information. You should therefore try to update the data in the feed often and include all relevant information.
Bulk pricing is not accepted. If you have a specific price for bulk buys, such as four of a product, the price for purchasing a single product should still be shown in the price file, regardless of how common bulk buying is amongst your visitors.

Put the most important details first. Users will usually see only the first 70 or fewer characters of your title, depending on screen size.
Use keywords. Keywords will help connect your product with a user’s search and help the user recognize what you’re selling. Your keywords could include these types of product details:
•Product name
•Brand
•Specific details about the product
Dont include info about discounts, sales or stock info in the name.
Price
The product price including VAT. The currency should be stated. Use a comma or a period as the decimal marker.

Shipping cost
The product’s shipping cost. Shipping cost needs to combine all shipping-/order costs for the consumer, like for example environmental surcharge, freight surcharge, handling surcharge, packaging fee etc.

Stock status
As a starting point, there must be a buy/order button so that the consumer can buy or order the product to show the product on Beyondschoolsupply. If the product cannot be purchased/ordered online or offline at all, it can’t be included in your product feed.
We don’t distinguish if the product is in local or remote storage by the merchant. Your stock status in the product feed should always be based on your online storage status, and cant for example show the stock status for one of your offline stores. However, we allow chain stores to display their offline prices as long as they are in stock in their offline stores, but the products must be tagged as “out of stock” in your product feed to us.
Pre-order products can not be tagged as “in stock”, use “pre-order” or “out of stock”.

•Distinguish between variants and use the correct MPN for each product variant. Typically, each variant of a product (different colors or sizes) has its own manufacturer sku, so make sure to submit the correct value. A exception is different sizes of apparel products, where all sizes often have the same MPN.

EAN code. Unique barcode number. Used by us to automatically match many product types and make the products searchable in the barcode scanner in our app.

URL to the product in your shop. It can also contain tracking parameters for analysis tools such as Google Analytics.

Image URL
URL to the product image. Use a static URL. The URL you submit should not be changed unless the actual image is moved or replaced. For example, do not use URLs with timestamps, cache values or parts that can be changed each time you generate feed data. A change to the URL will result in download and reprocessing. The CMYK format is not supported.

Category
Use the full “breadcrumb information”. Wherever possible, we recommend you to include more granular categories as it classifies your product more precisely. For example, Writing Supplies > Pencils > Mechanical Pencils.
Remember not to mix up different product types within the categories. One example is to avoid adding accessories for a coffee machine to the same category as the machines themselves.
Use > to separate multiple levels in a category. Also, include a space before and after the > symbol. For example: Clothing > Women > Dresses.
For gender-specific products (e.g. clothes and perfume), it is important to divide them up into Women, Men and Children. Our filters are partly based on the category names.

•Used – The item is used. For example, a display model/demo unit or because the packaging is damaged or completely missing.
•Refurbished – The item is not new but has been inspected and tested to ensure that it feels like a new product. For example, defective parts have been replaced, but the item may still show signs of use. It may come with or without the original packaging.

Missing data
The majority of product prices on Beyondschoolsupply are added using the unique product ID. These are normally the EAN (13-digit barcode) or ISBN (for books). When you use these IDs, this ensures that Beyondschoolsupply can automatically match your prices with the right product in our database. This is extremely important for the updating time and correctness of the listing.
We also use important information such as Product Name, Description, Image URL, Stock Status and Manufacturer Name to be able to list your prices. This information must be included in your product feed. The list of minimum information for a productfeed can be adjusted on an ongoing basis.
If this information is missing, it will affect the update time and the resources we use to manually ensure more correctly matched prices.
When this information is missing, Beyondschoolsupply can manually match your prices and add missing information, which involves greater time and cost resources. For this manually work and clicks, an additional fee of $0.09 per click is charged. Same cost applies for related store offers.
Verified Reviews:-
One of the decisive factors that encourage people to buy from your store is the customer feeling secure when they purchase from the store. An important aspect of the process of building a secure brand is to have lots of positive reviews online.
An additional fee applies for all clicks on stores without verified reviews. The price is $0.09 extra per click. If the store has at least six verified reviews in the last six months, this fee will cease to apply.

A lot of the information we display comesdirectly from the retailers. So if you find an error, it is quite probable that something is wrong on the retailer page. We would be grateful if you could report incorrect information to us via email.
How can I change incorrect company/retailer information?
Our customers can change this themselves via our retailer admin pages. Please contact us if you do not have login information.
Why do we not have any recently updated prices visible on Beyondschoolsupply?
When a retailer makes a change to its site or in the price file, this means we have to import the file again before the changes are displayed on Beyondschoolsupply. The file is imported automatically every day, but we can also schedule the file to be imported several times a day or do it manually straight away if you request it.
If you have added/removed columns in a price file or rebuilt your site, this can cause our import of your file to not work as it should. It is therefore sensible to be proactive and inform us of such changes in advance so we can adapt to them.
Things you should know about Beyondschoolsupply price updates:
•Prices or information about products that are already on Beyondschoolsupply will be updated immediately after we import the price file or site.
•New products often take around 24 hours after importing the price file or site before they appear on the site.
•If you add or change products, categories or make other important updates, it is always good if you can let us know. Then we can speed up the process and make sure everything takes place as smoothly and correctly as possible.
•Always consult with Beyondschoolsupply before you restructure or make major changes to your site or price file.
What can happen if we change our price file or site without informing you?
If you simply add new products, categories or other existing information to the price file or on the site, everything will be fine.

Why does it take a while before new products appear on Beyondschoolsupply?
The time it takes from a product being added at your website or included in your price file to become visible at Beyondschoolsupply varies and can depend on a range of things.
It can take up to 24 hours before new products are displayed on Beyondschoolsupply. If these are completely new categories for you, however, it can take longer. If you add or change products, categories or make other important updates, it is always good if you can let us know. Then we can speed up the process and make sure everything takes place as smoothly and correctly as possible.
We strongly recommend that you provide the manufacturer’s barcode number (EAN) or article number (MSKU) in your price file or on your site. This means that matching to the right product on our site will be automatic and that updates will be quicker.
How often do you import our site or price file?
Your site or price file is imported 1-4 times per day. The number of times we import the file depends on how much system resources the data collection takes. If you have preferences about the times for importing the price file, we are happy to accommodate these.
Prices or information about products that are already live on Beyondschoolsupply will be updated immediately after we import the price file or site.
Why are several of the products from us missing images?
The explanation can be that your image links which we load the images from have stopped working, or you have replaced the images on existing image links, which means we need to re-upload them to our system. Another possible reason is that we do not support your image format.

When Beyondschoolsupply  lacks information about your shipping costs. If we have no shipping information, we will place the price from you at the bottom of the comparison list for price sorting including shipping.
There are also products that we have not yet created a sorted price comparison for. These products are not sorted in ascending price order, but instead on the basis of relevance amongst other things.
Why are my prices on my products so far down the list?
The most likely explanation is that you either have a higher price for the product than many of your competitors or that we have no shipping costs for the product. For price sorting including shipping costs, such products without shipping costs always end up at the bottom.
There are also products that we have not yet created a sorted price comparison for. These products are not sorted in ascending price order, but is instead based on, among other things, relevance.
Why does the listing look different in certain categories?
 Beyondschoolsupply strives to display products in the way that users appreciate the most. This means that the default selection for some categories is a list that primarily consists of text (list view), while the default selection in other categories is for the product image to have a more prominent position in the product listing (grid view).
For all products where we have a price comparison, the standard setting is to show the lowest price excluding shipping costs at the top. The products then follow in ascending order of price. Users can always change how the list is sorted. For example, you can sort the list by lowest price including shipping costs or by shortest delivery time.
Searches and product categorisation
Why can’t I find the product I’m looking for?
The easiest way to find what you are looking for is to type your query in the search bar at the top of the site. You can enter the brand, model or type of product you are looking for.
